Cedric Vella is a creative visual artist with a keen interest in design, technology, music, video, and 3D animation. Cedric's videos have been viewed countless times by people all over the world, most notably his 'YouTube my Facebook' video, which won him first prize in the 2011 Palo Alto International Film Festival Short Film Project.
Cedric worked in the foremost recording studio in the country, Temple Studios, while reading for a Bachelor's in Communications and Psychology. Having graduated, Cedric soldiered on with musical projects and creative graphic design while schooling himself in the world of video. He steadily assembled a roster of loyal customers, all of whom have come to expect an unprecedented level of originality and technical skill from Cedric's finished product.
Cedric greatly enjoys his work, viewing each difficulty as a challenge to be overcome by creative thinking and ingenuity. He has tried his hand at every kind of artistic project, from graphic design for enterprises and music groups of every genre, to 3D animation intros, recording and co-producing a number of musical releases, spoof videos, public pranks, stunning product release videos and comedy videos. Cedric’s work has had an overwhelming public response, and one of his practical pranks, sunbathing in front of the Law Courts in Valletta, also got him home page stories in a number of Maltese newspapers.
Cedric's philosophy on a truly innovative project is rather simple; the technical know-how is important indeed, but not as important as the original creative thought behind it.
