My name is Patrik. I'm a 38 year old self-proclaimed designer. I've been involved in art ever since I was a child. My dedication has always been abstract painting; with over 200 art pieces under my belt. I call myself “self-proclaimed” since I have no formal training in graphic design, my work is driven by downright creativity and pure passion.

I've always had a fixation for logos (hence the name, LOGOPHYX) and its development. I find them visually captivating and ingenious. Everything I know about graphic design I learned on my own with the aid of books, tutorial videos on the web, and a lot of trial-and-error. Designing comes second nature to me; I find inspiration in everything around me. I find myself scrutinizing mundane things (i.e. architecture, negative spaces, symbols, icons, colors, etc.) other people don't notice or care for. I spot an element of design here and there, then my creative juices start flowing and I come up with a "concept". I sketch my ideas on paper and take them home with me for further exploration and development. Once I have all my design ingredients, I put them all together on my computer, and before you know it- a logo is born.
