The brief was to make an cover illustration to Little White Lies magazine. The Magazine features artists/designers/illustrators to design the cover based on the movie the issue is focusing on. For this brief we could choose between five movies, and I decided to go with the movie “Tree of Life”. I saw the movie as a big puzzle piece that came together nicely in the end. The idea behind this project reflects that point of view. The whole cover is handmade with plywood, the size of the original version is 47x56 cm.
