UK based Serious Sausage company is an ethical meat producing company and they wanted a logo that was bold, retro, quirky and portrayed their mission to source meat from ethical sources. They wanted to show that the animals were raised on farms with wide rolling spaces to roam freely and that they were "Serious" about their treatment and about the taste of their product. They wanted a "serious" logo that was not too "serious"!
