Buck Bourbon Whiskey is designed to speak to ranchers and cowboys everywhere. The unique two piece label and glass were inspired by the old west and whiskey bottles of that time period. The idea was to have the bottle feel as if it was pulled down from an old saloon shelf, dusted off and poured. Thus visually conveying the whiskey’s age and quality. Drawing inspiration from old west décor and rodeo culture Buck Bourbon combines two face labels that contour the shape of the glass. The ornate line work on the label conveys its’ smooth taste while giving the bottle an overall richness to symbolize its quality. Parchment paper and matte varnish were used to give the bottle a worn look and feel while also conveying the Whiskey’s age. A custom capsule was utilized to exaggerate the length of the bottle’s neck while directing your eye back down to the face label. The finishing touch was the addition of a neck hanger, loosely tied onto the bottle with jute.
